Hi! I am a friendly medical student with the goal of passing down my love of STEM subjects onto other students.
In order to help my students improve I would focus on weaker topics to eliminate confusion, share revision tips, and help apply topics to actual exam questions.
I will adapt my approach for each student (for example by creating different revision strategies depending on the individual's learning style) to ensure that they make as much progress as possible.
About my sessions: In my lessons I will recap any misunderstood topics by providing a detailed explanation. I can provide notes for students that want them, otherwise I like to write down the main points and go through lots of worked examples. We will also go through questions together — this helps me to see my students' way of thinking and where they are losing marks. I aim to create a supportive atmosphere and I encourage my students to ask questions.
