Hey! I'm Sam, a 23 year old tutor from Somerset with a First Class degree in Maths and Economics from LSE. After three intense years at university, I know how frustrating learning can be when things don't click. One of the biggest lessons I learned is that when you enjoy what you're studying, understanding follows. I keep lessons enjoyable and relaxed, but always focused on real understanding and results.
Alongside my degree, I taught myself Spanish to fluency and have tutored Spanish, Maths and Economics to students across GCSE, A Level and university entrance. I love finding the angle on a topic that finally makes it click for a particular student — that moment is what makes the job worth doing.
My approach is structured but flexible: we build genuine understanding of the underlying concepts first, then drill exam technique and past papers until walking into the exam hall feels routine.
